Simon Bork began working as a colorist for comic book publishers such as Marvel, DC and Image early on. He created the series of everyday objects that has been developed at Studio Panorama over the course of the past two years. The objects lose their mundane nature through isolation, scenic realization, and magnification. This exaggeration provides presence and allows the spectator to make unique associations.
Studio Panorama (studiopanorama.de) was founded by Armin Roth, Lukas Betzler, and Simon Bork. All three work as communication designers in Stuttgart, primarily for customers in the culture sector. Their work has shaped the appearance of the Rampe Theater in Stuttgart, the Konstanz Theater, and Bigfoot’s Tea Party from Glasgow.
